We split the stuffed lobster tail entree and it was incredible. Absolutely one of the best meals I've had. A one-pound lobster tail...yep, 16 succulent ounces of lobster, stuffed with decadent crab stuffing, panko bread crumbs and broiled. But that's not all! It's served with an accompanying dish of five rich, plump diver scallops and shrimp in a perfect, buttery, garlicky scampi sauce. Oh my. That entree was heavenly!

This has to be one of, if not the best, dining experiences at the Lake of the Ozarks.
My friend and I went in on a Wednesday evening. The place was packed, but the very friendly, attentive staff got us seated right away. Our server was wonderful...she really knew her menu, answered our several questions in a friendly, knowledgeable manner and made terrific suggestions.

To finish off we had a warm, gooey brownie topped with vanilla bean ice cream, hot fudge, caramel and walnuts. The perfect ending to a great, delicious meal.
If you want to experience something special, I definitely recommend J.B. Hook's!

We have been to JB Hook's a couple of times for appetizer and once for dinner. Not sure why I haven't done a review, but here it is after the best visit by far.
First of all, our server was phenomenal. All his suggestions were spot on. I loved the mayfair salad, my wife had the scallops, which were the best we've ever had - just amazing. I had the swordfish, which I'm always afraid will be dry, but it was also perfect.
I don't know how we could have enjoyed this meal any more. It was a gorgeous sunset on top of everything else. We'll definitely be back.

Olivia, our server was very attentive. The Manager took the time to say hello and made sure our evening was great and we didn't want for anything. The meal was excellent.

Best food and view by far! Me and my boyfriend went here for our first time for our 5th year anniversary and were blown away with how great the service was! And to top it off we had such a priceless view of the sunset while eating our meals!☺️
