JB Hook's has been around for a very long time. The lake-view fine dining restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks that you know and love today originally opened its doors in February of 1995. Since then people have learned to always expect the same attention to detail, same top-quality customer service, and same outstanding food and drinks every time they come in to visit us. JB Hook's Legendary Steaks & Seafood has some exciting news to share... we are expanding our  Lake of the Ozarks fine dining restaurant ! You've undoubtedly noticed the construction equipment and work going on outside, and today we're going to give you some information on the exciting things to expect once all of the new construction is finished. Through the Years The Lake of the Ozarks seafood & steak restaurant that you know and love today was originally opened in 1978 by Dave and Phillis Marose as Captain Hook's . A few years down the road the building was purchased by Dwayne and Donna Steele, who changed the name to Krazo's . It wasn't until 1995 that the restaurant was purchased by Bruce Elliott and John LaFata. They renamed the establishment as JB Hook's Great Ocean Fish & Steaks .
