Some of these include:  Nigiri  - This type has slices of fresh raw fish or meat placed over pressed rice.  Sashimi  - Slices of raw fish presented without rice, often served on julienned daikon radish.  Maki  - A roll comprised of one or more types of fish and vegetables in rice wrapped with roasted nori seaweed. Temaki  - Prepared the same way as maki but rolled in a cone shape for a better appearance and grip....
