Three days a week we offer the best sushi at the Lake of the Ozarks and we've added some delicious Japanese inspired cocktails to go along with it. You'll also find a wonderful selection of sake to enjoy from the bar at JB Hook's. Both options will take your sushi experience to the next delectable level. Sake Perhaps the most popular thing to drink while enjoying a plate of sushi is sake, which also happens to be the national beverage of Japan. Sake is a rice wine made by fermenting rice that has been polished to remove the bran. In the Japanese language, the word "sake" means liquor and can actually refer to any alcoholic drink. The beverage called sake in English is usually referred to as nihonshu (Japanese liquor) in Japan. Better than just a Ladies Night, your favorite lake view bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is now hosting Ladies Day all day every Thursday from 11 am-8 pm! We're celebrating all of our lovely lady guests both day and night each week for lunch, dinner, and everything in between. Call all of your gal pals and have them meet you at JB Hook's .  Lunch Specials Lunch is served daily from 11 am-4 pm at JB Hook's in both the bar area and the Sunset Room.
