Even though it seems to be much older, the city of Lake Ozark is turning 50 this month! This will be celebrated with all kinds of fun events and activities happening on the historic Bagnell Dam Strip, right up the road from your favorite seafood & steak restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks .  JB Hook's is a popular fixture with both local residents and visitors to Lake Ozark, MO. While the town has been around in theory longer than 50 years, Lake Ozark officially became a fourth-class city in Missouri in August of 1966. Prior to that, it was referenced by a few different names until the United States Post Office gave it the name. The award-winning Hot Summer Nights on the historic Bagnell Dam Strip take place on the second Friday of every month, all summer long, right up the road from our Lake of the Ozarks seafood restaurant . There are three more of these incredible events happening this year, including one big 50th anniversary celebration.  Start Your Night With Us JB Hook's is the perfect place to stop before all of the fun on the strip gets started. Visit us for our Friday Happy Hour from 3-7 pm, which includes the talented Mike V. and friends performing, then head on up the street for a blast into the past.  The excitement on the strip begins at 6 pm and generally wraps up around 11 pm.
