Food, Fun, & Fireworks at the Lake of the Ozarks
The 4th of July is coming to us on a Thursday this year, meaning many people will be cutting the work week short and celebrating over an extended weekend. Our lake view restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is the perfect spot to spend a little bit (or even a lot) of your holiday vacation. From delicious food and drinks to an incredible view of many fireworks displays, JB Hook's is an excellent place to celebrate Independence Day.
The View (& the Fireworks!)
Our Lake of the Ozarks seafood & steak restaurant boasts a gorgeous 14-mile panoramic view from every room. We are positioned perfectly to see many of the big fireworks displays taking place over the water from various locations. The shows will be impressive whether you are seated in our special event room, the main dining room, the piano bar, or on our covered outdoor patio.
When the fireworks begin, we love to turn down the lights in the restaurant so that the vibrant colors can be seen even better. This year many local fireworks displays are taking place on Thursday, July 4, but we expect to see a few more popping up here and there throughout the weekend as well. Holiday Happy Hour
The best Happy Hour at the Lake of the Ozarks happens in the piano bar at JB Hook's 6 days a week. Over the extended 4th of July holiday this year, you'll have 3 chances to enjoy it - Thursday, Friday, and Sunday!
Every Monday-Friday this time of year our Happy Hour takes place in the bar area from 3-7 pm and each Sunday from 11 am-7 pm. We offer incredible drink specials on mixed drinks and wine, including our famous housemade sangrias in both red and white. Happy Hour also features a very large list of amazing half-price appetizers.
Live Music
Our piano bar hosts some of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks from 5:30-8:30 pm every Monday-Saturday. This conveniently overlaps with some of our Happy Hour times, meaning you can enjoy incredible pricing on amazing food and drinks and experience a fantastic musical performance while you do! Lunch AND Dinner
JB Hook's opens daily at 11:00 am to begin lunch service that lasts until 4:00 pm. Currently, our midday meal can be enjoyed either in the bar, in our Sunset Room, or on the covered outdoor patio. Our Shrimp & Oyster Bar is available all day long so you can even enjoy something tasty to eat between our lunch and dinner service.
Dinner service begins at 5:00 pm nightly. Reservations are not required for our casual fine dining restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks but are encouraged if you want to eat at a specific time. This is especially true on busy holidays and weekends. You can make a reservation online through our website or simply give us a call at (573) 365-3255. Full menus can also be seen on our website plus you can expect scrumptious daily specials offered in the restaurant for both lunch and dinner.
