JB Hook's - A Lake of the Ozarks Favorite for the Entire Family!
School's out for summer and if you have school-age children, that means you're always on the lookout for something fun to keep them entertained during the break. Dining out is a great way to break up the monotony of your daily routine. Even though JB Hook's can be classified as a fine dining restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks, that doesn't mean we're stuffy and adults-only! JB Hook's is a wonderful place to bring the entire family for lunch or dinner.
Our Kids' Menu
We've got a terrific kids menu for the younger family members in your dining group which allows the adults to enjoy a delicious meal that doesn't involve fast food. The terrific choices we offer for children ages 12 and under just may turn them into mini-foodies!
We have crayons and a fun coloring sheet for our kids' menu, but bring along items that you know will keep your child entertained. If they happen to get fidgety, take them for a walk to look at the gorgeous lake view out the window or venture outside to admire the beautiful flowers blooming. You may want to hang out with them for a while in our waiting area. There are comfortable seats there and the change of scenery may be enough to keep them happy until the food arrives.

Breast of chicken, breaded and deep-fried.
Fish Sticks
Hand-battered white fish fried to a golden brown and served with tartar sauce.
Fried Shrimp
Large shrimp rolled in Panko breadcrumbs and deep-fried to perfection.
Kids' Fettuccine
Served with your choice of alfredo or marinara sauce.
Steakburger Sliders
Two mini steakburgers topped with American cheese and served on a Hawaiian bun.
Kids' Sirloin
A 6-oz. certified Angus beef sirloin cooked to your liking.

Dining With Toddlers
It's always best to make sure that younger children are well-rested before putting them in a public situation where they are expected to remain seated and behave. For toddlers that are not used to dining out yet, you might consider starting with lunch or a very early dinner. Teenage & Adult Children
By the time you kids are teenagers, they should be excited to dine at our Lake of the Ozarks steak & seafood restaurant because they are old enough to explore the many fantastic dining options offered on our full menu. As a matter of fact, we are a popular destination for teenagers celebrating a special evening, both with and without their parents.
Once your "kid" reaches the age of 21, a new type of family fun at JB Hook's is available to you... Happy Hour! At this point, you can bring the entire grownup family into the bar for drink specials, half-price appetizers, and the amazing live music we feature 6 nights a week.
