The Exquisite Seafood Dinners at JB Hook's

To serve truly legendary seafood dinners at our fine dining restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks, you need fresh ingredients, talented chefs with incredible recipes, and a wonderful variety of dishes to offer. JB Hook's has all of that throughout our menus. It's especially evident in the Ocean & Freshwater Fish section of the dinner menu.

Dinner service begins nightly at 5 pm. (But we serve lunch from 11 am-4 pm and appetizers between lunch and dinner, so feel free to come in sooner if you get hungry!) When you join us for dinner in the main dining room, you can enjoy our breathtaking 14-mile panoramic view of the lake while we serve you one of the many mouthwatering meals available on our menu. Should you be in the mood for seafood, we suggest one of these scrumptious dishes.

Ocean & Freshwater Fish Menu
All of our entrees are served with your choice of a salad (Mayfair, Caesar, Greek, Gregory's, or Classic BLT Wedge) or soup (French Onion, Salmon Bisque, or Soup Du Jour) and one side dish (Garlic Mashed Potato, Baked Potato, Amaretto Carrots, Vegetable Du Jour, or New Orleans Rice.)

The Manhattan
Pan-seared pangasius filet topped with sundried tomatoes, red onion, and fresh basil in a sweet vermouth cream sauce

Northern Walleye
Encrusted in Dijon mustard and breadcrumbs, served with drawn butter

Tilapia Grand Marnier
Tilapia filet pan-seared and topped with 2 gulf shrimp and finished with a Grand Marnier reduction

Peppered Mahi
Pepper encrusted Mahi filet topped with caramelized red onion and bacon, then finished with hollandaise

Alaskan King Crab Legs
One pound of king crab legs steamed in spices and served with drawn butter

Fresh Day Boat Scallops Rockefeller
Fresh sustainable dayboat scallops lightly dusted in Cajun spices and pan-seared, served over a bed of sauteed spinach, onion, and bacon in a sweet vermouth cream sauce and topped with hollandaise

Fried Shrimp
Seven large shrimp breaded, fried, and served with cocktail sauce

Hook's Coconut Shrimp
Seven large shrimp encrusted in coconut and deep-fried to a golden brown and served with jezebel sauce

Grouper Supreme
Sauteed in white wine, lemon butter, and garlic, then finished with hollandaise sauce and 2 Gulf shrimp

Pesto Snapper
Fresh red snapper filet dusted in cornmeal and spices, then deep -fried and served over basil pesto

Ahi Tuna
Your choice grilled, pan-seared, or blackened, served with wasabi and sushi ginger

Hook's Milan
A mild flaky orange roughy filet pan-seared and topped with a white wine garlic cream sauce with sautéed artichoke hearts, mushrooms. fresh basil, lump crabmeat, and finished with parmesan cheese.

Hook's Stuffed Lobster Tail
Our signature one-pound Australian lobster tail stuffed with Alaskan king crab, fresh herbs, and panko breadcrumbs, oven- broiled and served with pan-seared day boat sea scallops and gulf shrimp in a classic scampi sauce

Chef's selection of freshwater or ocean fish of various types available
