Ocean & Freshwater Seafood Dinners at JB Hook's

There are a couple of week's left in National Seafood Month, and we've still got a lot of the best seafood at the Lake of the Ozarks to talk about! We started with our seafood appetizers and the amazing Shrimp & Oyster Bar followed by a blog all about our irresistible seafood lunch offerings. Today you get a closer look at the many fantastic dining options we have in store for you every evening after 5 pm.  

Every seat in the main dining room has access to JB Hook's unbelievable 14-mile panoramic view of the Lake of the Ozarks. It's simply beautiful in the sunlight, but when you time your dinner just right, you will have the pleasure of seeing one of the most amazing sunsets of your entire life.

Reservations aren't required, but they are suggested. You can make a reservation online directly through our website or call the restaurant at (573) 365-3255. In addition to nightly specials created by our talented chef, here are the seafood choices you will find on our dinner menu.

Ocean & Freshwater Fish Menu 
All of our entrees are served with your choice of a salad (Mayfair, Caesar, Greek, Gregory's, or Classic BLT Wedge) or soup (French Onion, Salmon Bisque, or Soup Du Jour) and one side dish (Garlic Mashed Potato, Baked Potato, Amaretto Carrots, Vegetable Du Jour, or New Orleans Rice.)

The Manhattan
Pan seared pangasius filet topped with sundried tomatoes, red onion, and fresh basil in a sweet vermouth cream sauce.

Fresh Day Boat Scallops Rockefeller
Fresh sustainable dayboat scallops lightly dusted in Cajun spices and pan-seared served over a bed of sauteed spinach, onion, and bacon in a sweet vermouth cream sauce topped with hollandaise.

Northern Walleye
Encrusted in Dijon mustard and breadcrumbs and served with drawn butter.

Tilapia Grand Mariner
Tilapia filet pan-seared and topped with two Gulf shrimp and finished with a grand mariner reduction.

Peppered Mahi
Pepper-encrustedMahii filet topped with caramelized red onion and bacon then finished with hollandaise.

Grouper Supreme
Sauteed in white wine, lemon butter, and garlic and finished with hollandaise sauce and two Gulf shrimp.

Alaskan King Crab Legs
One pound of king crab legs steamed in spices and served with drawn butter.

Hook's Coconut Shrimp
Seven large shrimp encrusted in coconut and deep-fried to a golden brown served with Jezebel sauce.

Fried Shrimp
Seven large shrimp breaded, fried, and served with cocktail sauce.

Pesto Snapper
Fresh red snapper filet dusted in cornmeal and spices then deep-fried and served over basil pesto.

Ahi Tuna
Your choice of grilled, pan-seared, or blackened Ahi tuna served with wasabi and sushi ginger.

Australian Lobster Tail
One pound of North Australian lobster tail.

Hook's Milan
A mild, flaky orange roughy filet pan-seared and topped with a white wine garlic cream sauce with sautéed artichoke hearts, mushrooms, fresh basil, and lump crabmeat finished with parmesan cheese.

Hook's Stuffed Lobster Tail
Our signature one-pound Australian lobster tail stuffed with Alaskan king crab, fresh herbs, and panko breadcrumbs oven-broiled and served with pan-seared dayboat sea scallops and Gulf shrimp in a classic scampi sauce.
