The 14-Mile Panoramic Lake of the Ozarks View You Don't Want To Miss
The delicious dishes that JB Hook's has to offer is the main reason that most customers fall in love with our establishment. Another reason is our breathtaking view of the beautiful lake. No matter where you choose to sit, that gorgeous scenery is visible to you.
Being the best lake view restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks, we wanted to make sure that the water could be seen by all of our customers, not just from a select few tables, by from all of them. Whether you dine indoors our outside on the covered patio, that amazing scenery will be right there for you.
The main channel of the lake is 92 miles long from end to end. JB Hook's boasts a magnificent 14-mile panoramic view of this incredible body of water. We have a wonderful location right next to the community bridge on the main channel, so on good boating days there are plenty of boats cruising by to entertain you while you eat. On race weekends, like Lake of the Ozarks Shootout weekend, you'll occasionally spot the race boats getting in a little sightseeing during their down time.
Our main dining room features floor-to-ceiling windows for an uninterrupted view of the lake, and the upper dining area, the Garden Room, features large picture windows.
The bar area is open enough to allow you a great view of the lake, even from across the room. Right next door to the bar, the Sunset Room is enclosed within three walls of glass so that the gorgeous view is front and center.
Last, but certainly not least, the covered patio takes away the pane of glass and lets you feel that much closer to the fantastic lake view. To the left and to the right, nothing but beautiful, natural scenery.
It's every bit as amazing once the sun begins going down too. There is nothing more romantic than a sunset dinner. Another bonus about our central location is that during the summer holidays, like Labor Day coming up very soon, you can see lots of different fireworks displays happening from our Lake of the Ozarks restaurant. We like to dim the lights and really let all of our patrons enjoy the special holiday view.
