According to TripAdvisor, People LOVE JB Hook's!
OnlyInYourState.com searches for the best of just about everything in every state. This week they posted an article entitled "The 20 Most Highly Rated Restaurants In Missouri. They're Amazing." and JB Hook's made the list because of our #1 spot on TripAdvisor. Our upscale eatery was commended for our steak and seafood offerings, creative cocktails, and lake view.
Most visitors to the Lake of the Ozarks have already experienced this for themselves, but the kind shout-out may bring in a few new faces to our restaurant, increasing the customers that we are able to treat to a wonderful meal and friendly atmosphere.

"We were at JB Hook's on Sunday evening. Our waiter was Johnny Grist. We were not sure what we wanted to order, dinner or appetizers, and Johnny recommended different things and guided us to make good choices and we had an excellent meal and dessert. He was also helpful with our wine choice. Be sure and ask for him when you go there."

"I held my parent's 50th anniversary party at JB Hook's and cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at this restaurant! I rented the Sunset Room and it was the perfect setting. This was one of the first events I have organized myself, and the staff at JB Hooks made everything effortless!!The event planner, Laurie, was great! She helped me stay within my budget while making sure we had a perfect menu. The manager, Rick, allowed me to come set up for my event early and was super attentive during the party, making sure everything went smoothly. And the servers were awesome!! They were extremely professional and even went out of their way to help me decorate for the event. They did an excellent job and I could tell they definitely take pride in what they do. The food and view were outstanding as well. If you're looking for a place to hold a private event at the lake, I highly recommend JB Hooks!"

"We traveled down from IA for our anniversary and found this incredible restaurant. The view is simply amazing we made our reservation at sunset and it was spectacular. The food was the best steak and shrimp I've ever had. Marty was our server and she was nothing but professional and there for our every want or need. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area! It's a must stop!"

"We dined at JB Hook's Restaurant while on a quick 2 day getaway this past week. The restaurant is situated on a high bluff overlooking the lake. We ate upstairs in the dining room. The wall on the lake side is composed of large windows providing a magnificent view of the lake. My wife had the salmon special and I had the Ahi Tuna. Both meals were beautifully prepared and the taste was excellent. Our server, Jake, was friendly and very attentative. We could not have asked to a nicer evening."
