JB Hook's has been around for a very long time. The lake-view fine dining restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks that you know and love today originally opened its doors in February of 1995. Since then people have learned to always expect the same attention to detail, same top-quality customer service, and same outstanding food and drinks every time they come in to visit us.
Of course, that doesn't mean that everything is always the exact same around here. We still do our very best to keep your experience at JB Hook's new, fresh, and exciting during every visit. Daily Specials for Lunch AND Dinner
DID YOU KNOW that we offer daily specials for both lunch and dinner that you won't regularly find on our menus? These change daily, depending on what our chef is in the mood to create that particular day, so sometimes it's even a surprise to the rest of us working here!
The best way to find out "what's cooking" is to come in and have a look at our specials board, or you can always give the restaurant a call to find out before you come in. (Although, you might as well go ahead and come on in. You know it's going to be something mouthwatering and irresistible!)
Gift Card Promotion
While technically this isn't a brand new thing, we have just recently re-introduced it for 2018. It's that wonderful time of the year when our holiday gift card promotion begins! You've undoubtedly got a long list of people that you need to buy gifts for over the holidays. If you already love it here at JB Hook's, then giving someone a gift card to JB Hook's is an excellent way to share that experience you enjoy with others.

We recently began reaching out to our guests through text messaging. It's one more way to let you know about all of the exciting things going on at our Lake of the Ozarks seafood and steak restaurant. It's rare that a person is very far from their cell phone nowadays, so this makes the information easily accessible to everyone.
We only plan to send out about 4 text messages a month, so you don't have to worry about hearing from us more than you'd like. Just quick, short messages about things you want to know. It's easy to sign up. Simply text "JBHOOKS" to "71441" and you'll begin receiving our updates!
The Mysterious Expansion
Last, but certainly not least, is all of that construction that's been going on outside our restaurant. It's not a huge secret that we're expanding, but we are saving some of the juiciest details now to surprise you with at a later date!
We can tell you that this new addition will add approximately 7,000 square feet of space to our existing restaurant and bar at the Lake of the Ozarks. There will be more kitchen space filled with the newest innovative equipment to elevate your fine dining experience to an even higher level. The new dining space will offer more room so that even more people can enjoy JB Hook's with less of a wait time, and it will offer a breathtaking 180-degree lake view.

Facebook Giveaways
If you follow the JB Hook's Facebook page, you may have noticed that a couple of weeks ago we posted a contest. (If you're not following us, why not? You can learn LOTS of great stuff about us on there!) For November we are asking everyone to share photos of their favorite things about our incredible extended Happy Hour, which happens this time of year every Monday-Friday from 3-8 pm and all day every Sunday. It could be the great drinks, the half-price appetizers, the people you hang out with, the live music, etc... Whatever makes you happiest during our Happy Hour!

Heading to Colorado tomorrow for the Thanksgiving celebration. Stopped at JB Hooks this evening for a glass of wine and an appetizer. Loved the atmosphere, the live music, the staff and the food.
ReplyDeleteHOWEVER.... in the garage, when we returned home, we had to take off our jackets, pants, shirts....ALL of it, due to the smoke smell. It was awfull. Everything went immediately into the washer. I am just amazed that smoking is allowed in this day and age in a food establishment. Many bars and restaurants that are smoke free have a cute, fun designated area outside to smoke. More than disappointed in JB Hooks. Looking forward to our visit in smoke free Colorado. Moved here to the lake from smoke free Michigan.
