Perfectly Prepared Pork & Poultry Dishes
Although JB Hook's is well-known for succulent seafood and savory steaks, our chefs are incredible with a wide variety of other foods as well. Chicken is a very popular menu item, and the way the talented people prepare it at our fine dining restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks will make your taste buds tingle. There are many chicken dishes on both the lunch and dinner menus, and today we'll also be giving you a peek at a couple of fantastic pork dishes as well.
Chicken for Lunch
Lunch is served daily in the Sunset Room and our bar area from 11 am-4 pm. When the weather is nice enough, we also open our lovely outdoor covered patio for dining.
Mesquite Smoked Wings
This delicious dish can be found the appetizer portion of our lunch menu and is also available as a dinner appetizer as well. These wings are smoked in-house and served with your choice of sauces by either the dozen or half-dozen.
Grilled Chicken Club
Grilled chicken piled high on wheatberry bread with lettuce, applewood smoked bacon, tomato, onions, avocados, and Swiss cheese served with honey mustard.
Bruce's Panama Wrap
Grilled, diced chicken breast tossed with Romaine lettuce, tomato, feta cheese, kalamata olives, bacon crumbles, and Greek dressing, all served in a sundried tomato basil wrap.
Buffalo Chicken Wrap
Fried chicken strips are tossed in our spicy buffalo sauce and placed in a sundried tomato basil wrap with romaine lettuce, Colby Jack cheese, and ranch dressing.
Pecan & Pineapple Chicken Salad
Chunks of white chicken tossed with pineapple, celery, red onions, diced red peppers, and mayonnaise, then served on a bed of lettuce with crackers and finished with toasted pecans.
Pork & Poultry for Dinner
Dinner service begins at 5 pm nightly. The following delicious dishes can be found in the Pork & Poultry section of the menu.
Grilled pork tenderloin medallions topped with a blueberry and peach reduction.
Slow-roasted pork shank served over a bed of garlic gnocchi and finished with sautéed mushrooms in a Madeira Port wine reduction.
Sauteed with mushrooms, onions, and red bell peppers in a classic garlic, white wine, butter supreme sauce and topped with Swiss cheese.
Sautéed in white wine, lemon with lump crab and asparagus topped with béarnaise sauce.
Stuffed Chicken Chardonnay
Stuffed with cream cheese, and crabmeat, then breaded, flash-fried, and baked to a golden brown, all topped with a Chardonnay cream sauce.
