The Best Steaks at the Lake of the Ozarks

A lot of focus has been placed on our succulent seafood dishes lately with our new Raw Bar Happy Hour Menu and the addition of sushi to the JB Hook's menu twice a week. Today seemed like a good time to give a little attention to one of our other gourmet specialties - the best steaks at the Lake of the Ozarks! This one's for all of you red-meat lovers out there. Take a look at what is waiting for you on the menu at JB Hook's.

Steak at JB Hook's
Savory steak can be found throughout both our lunch and dinner menus. Every steak served at our Lake of the Ozarks fine dining restaurant is hand-carved, USDA choice or above, and aged a minimum of 21 days.

Served daily 11 am-4 pm.

Sirloin Bleu
A 6-ounce cut sirloin charbroiled then topped with melted bleu cheese and Tobacco onions.

Traditional Steak Bites
Filet mignon tips with red onions and peppers, marinated and grilled.

Hook's Homemade Steakburger
A half-pound of fresh filet strip loin ground in-house and served on a Kaiser with lettuce, pickle, onion, and tomato plus your choice of additional toppings. 


Beginning at 5 pm daily.

Filet Mignon
 tenderloin filet topped with maître d' butter, available as a 6-oz. or 8-oz. cut.

KC Strip
A 12-ounce strip loin topped with maître d' butter.

Prime Rib
Seasoned prime rib roast served traditional, charbroiled, or blackened as available, served as a regular cut or extra cut.

Steak Neptune
A 6-ounce filet mignon topped with tender bits of lump crab and shrimp then finished with asparagus spears and béarnaise sauce.

Steak Woodrow
A 6-ounce filet pepper encrusted and topped with caramelized red onion and bacon then finished with hollandaise.

Steak & Shrimp
A 6-ounce filet mignon and your choice of shrimp.

Hook's Tournados
Two 3-ounce tenderloin medallions charbroiled and finished with sautéed mushrooms, lump crab, and bearnaise.

Steak and Alaskan King Crab Legs
One pound of Alaskan King Crab Legs steamed in spices, served with drawn butter, and paired with a 6-ounce chargrilled filet.

Steak & Australian Lobster Tail
A 1-pound North Australian lobster tail served with a 6-ounce filet mignon.

Black 'n' Bleu
Beef tenderloin tips blackened, served over fettuccine, and topped with bleu cheese crumbles.
