Join Us At JB Hook's This 4th of July Weekend
With the 4th of July falling on a Monday this year, you get the entire weekend to celebrate. That means approzimately 4 dinners and 3 lunches (unless you are lucky enough to get all day Friday off too) that you will be looking for something tasty to eat.
JB Hook's has a big enough menu that you could join us for all of those meals and have something dramatically different each time, but great food isn't the only reason to join us this holiday weekend. Our lake view restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks has a lot to offer both visitors and local residents this 4th of July weekend.
Fireworks
The uninterrupted, 14-miles panoramic view of the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks is visible from every seat in the main dining room and our special event room, most of the tables in the bar, and of course, from our covered outdoor patio. This is breathtaking, no matter what time of day or time of year that you are here, but during holidays featuring fireworks, it's even more special.
At dusk, we turn down the lights so that everyone at JB Hook's can enjoy the many vibrant fireworks displays taking place over the water. We are positioned perfectly to see quite a few of them. You can see a full list of dates and times for local fireworks at Funlake.com.
Holiday Happy Hours
We have the best Happy Hour at the Lake of the Ozarks with incredible food and drink specials, and it even happens on Sundays! Every Monday-Friday from 3-7 pm and Sunday from 2-6 pm our bar fills up with a fun group of people for Happy Hour. That means over the 4th of July holiday weekend, you can join us on Friday, Sunday, and Monday!
Drink specials include buy-1-Get-1-Free on each of the following: well drinks, house wines, and our very popular homemade red or white Sangria. To go along with the drinks, our food specials are unbelievable. You can choose from a long list of 1/2-price gourmet appetizers, including Crunchy Grouper Fingers, Hook's Cheeseburger Sliders, Crab Rangoon, Ahi Tuna Tacos, and much more.
Full Lunch & Dinner Menus
JB Hook's opens every day at 11:00 am, and lunch is served from 11 am - 4 pm in the bar, Sunset Room, and also on the patio when the weather permits. Our lunch menu features salads, soups, and our Shrimp & Oyster Bar, plus delicious appetizers and filling entrees, perfectly sized for an afternoon meal. Be sure to ask your server about our daily $5.99 lunch special.
Dinner in the evening is equally as amazing, with many added benefits. The plates are bigger for a hungry appetite after a full day of fun at the lake, and the choices feature the best steak and seafood at the Lake of the Ozarks. Some of our most popular entrees are the Steak & Australian Lobster Tail, Lobster Pasta, Chicken Oscar, and Alaskan King Crab, but there's a lot more where those came from.
