Our Lake of the Ozarks fine dining restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious menu items but we're probably best known for our legendary seafood and steak entrees. In today's blog, we're going to take a closer look at the mouthwatering steak dishes featured on our dinner menu. (Plus, our Surf 'N' Turf dishes which offer you the best of both worlds!) You don't even have to wait for dinner to enjoy a juicy steak at JB Hook's because you'll also find a few savory steak choices on our lunch menu as well.

From our appetizer menu, you may begin your dinner with Filet Mignon tips with red onion and peppers, marinated and grilled.
JB Hook's Steaks For Dinner
Dinner service begins nightly at 5:00 pm in our newest addition, the West Wing. All of our steaks are hand-carved, USDA choice or above, aged a minimum of 21 days. Dinners are served with your choice of soup (French Onion, Salmon Bisque, or Soup Du Jour) or salad (Caesar, Greek, Gregory's, or BLT Wedge) and one side dish. Side dishes include Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Baked Potato, Amaretto Carrots, Vegetable Du Jour, and New Orleans Rice.

From our appetizer menu, you may begin your dinner with Filet Mignon tips with red onion and peppers, marinated and grilled.

Beef tenderloin filet topped with maître d' butter, available as a 6-ounce or 8-ounce cut.
KC Strip
Strip loin topped with maître d' butter.
Prime Rib
Seasoned Prime Rib Roast served traditional, charbroiled, or blackened, available as a regular cut or extra cut.
Steak Neptune
A 6-ounce Filet Mignon topped with tender bits of lump crab and shrimp. It is finished with asparagus spears and béarnaise sauce.
Steak Woodrow
A 6-ounce filet pepper-encrusted and topped with caramelized red onion and bacon, finished with hollandaise.
Hook's Tournados
Two 3-ounce tenderloin medallions charbroiled and finished with sautéed mushrooms, lump crab, and bearnaise.
Steak and Shrimp
A 6-ounce Filet Mignon and your choice of shrimp.
Steak and Alaskan King Crab Legs
One pound of Alaskan King Crab Legs steamed in spices, served with drawn butter, and paired with a 6-ounce chargrilled filet.

A half-pound of fresh filet strip loin ground in house and served on a Kaiser with lettuce, pickle, onion, and tomato.
A 1-pound North Australian lobster tail served with a 6-ounce Filet Mignon.

When you simply can't wait until dinner time to enjoy a good steak, join us for lunch and the delicious dishes featured on that menu. Lunch is served daily at JB Hook's from 11:00 am-4:00 pm.
