JB Hook's is Honored to Accept 3 Silver Spoon Awards!
We do our very best 7 days a week to provide our guests with the experience of the best fine dining at the Lake of the Ozarks. This includes offering a casual yet elegant atmosphere, the freshest and most flavorful food, and excellent customer service. Recently we learned that those efforts had been noticed when we were honored to receive 3 Silver Spoon Awards!
The Lake of the Ozarks Second Home Living Magazine announced the results for their annual Silver Spoon Awards recently and we are very thankful to have been recognized in three categories:

JB Hook's Steak & Lobster
This Suf 'N' Turf delicacy offers you the best of both worlds, all on one plate. It looks fantastic, smells amazing, and tastes even better than you could ever imagine!
Our version includes a succulent 1-pound North Australian lobster tail served with a mouthwatering 6-oz. Filet Mignon, cooked to your liking. This is served along with your choice of soup or salad and one of our savory side dishes.
Fresh, Delicious Seafood
The best seafood at the Lake of the Ozarks can be found throughout all of our menus, which include lunch, dinner, Happy Hour appetizers, and our incredible Shrimp & Oyster Bar. (We've also got a special Happy Hour Raw Bar menu available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!)
Both ocean and freshwater fish are represented on our extensive menus. Listing all of them here would make for a very long blog, so instead, we've featured just a few dishes from the various menus to whet your appetite.

A generous portion of farm-raised catfish served with housemade coleslaw, jalapeno hush puppies, & raspberry chipotle sauce.

Oysters on the Half Shell (Shrimp & Oyster Bar)
Succulent Blue Point oysters served with cocktail sauce and horseradish. Available by the dozen or half-dozen.
Steamed Blue Mussels (Shrimp & Oyster Bar)
Prince Edward Island mussels steamed in garlic, butter, white wine, and lemon.
Hook's Famous Crunchy Fingers (1/2-price Happy Hour menu)
Delicate, flaky, sustainable Pacific white fish rolled in frosted flakes, fried to a golden brown, and drizzled in honey. These are served over raspberry chipotle sauce.
Ahi Tuna Tacos (1/2-price Happy Hour menu)
Fresh tuna spiced and served in a wonton shell with avocado salsa, Thai chili sauce, and wasabi cream cheese.

Tilapia filet pan-seared and topped with two gulf shrimp, then finished with Grand Marnier reduction.

Fresh Day Boat Scallops Rockefeller (dinner menu)
Fresh sustainable dayboat scallops lightly dusted in Cajun spices and pan-seared, served over a bed of sauteed spinach, onion, and bacon in a sweet vermouth cream sauce, topped with hollandaise.
Hook's Stuffed Lobster Tail (dinner menu)
Our signature 1-pound Australian lobster tail stuffed with Alaskan King Crab, fresh herbs, and panko breadcrumbs, oven-broiled and served with pan-seared day boat sea scallops and gulf shrimp in a classic scampi sauce.
