Not only is it a busy weekend here in the lake area with the Magic Dragon Car Show happening up the street from JB Hook's and the Spring Harbor Hop cruising back and forth below us on the water, but there's also more! Saturday, May 4, the Kentucky Derby will be broadcast on our TVs in the piano bar and on Sunday, May 5, according to the calendar, it's Cinco de Mayo. (Margaritas anyone?) There are quite a few annual events at the Lake of the Ozarks that are worth making a trip to the area for, and the 31st Annual Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is definitely one of them. It will be happening just up the street from JB Hook's , which means before, after, and between event activities, you can take a break at our Lake of the Ozarks lake view restaurant and bar !  2019 Magic Dragon Car Show This unique, exciting, and very large car show is happening on the historic Bagnell Dam Strip May 3-5. It showcases all makes, models, and years of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. 1,000 vehicles will be on display, and thousands of people will flock to the lake area to enjoy this family fun event. To serve truly legendary seafood dinners at our fine dining restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks , you need fresh ingredients, talented chefs with incredible recipes, and a wonderful variety of dishes to offer.
