Here Comes an Amazing Labor Day Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks!
We love being in the lake area every day of the week, all year long, but there's an added excitement in the air during a holiday weekend. It's easy to find fun things to do, but your favorite stop is bound to be our Lake of the Ozarks seafood & steak restaurant. With delicious food and drinks, incredible entertainment, excellent customer service, and wonderful company while you're here, a visit to JB Hook's is always memorable. Here's what you can look forward to this Labor Day Weekend when you join us.
Fireworks
We don't put on a Labor Day fireworks show of our own, but that breathtaking 14-mile panoramic view that can be enjoyed from every room in our Lake of the Ozarks restaurant & bar shows off quite a few of the local demonstrations. The experience is always made extra-special at JB Hook's because we like to dim the lights inside so that the fireworks outside seem even brighter! Best of all, you get to enjoy the show from the comfort of our bar or dining room while you also enjoy a few tasty cocktails and a delicious bite to eat.
Fantastic Food
The best seafood at the Lake of the Ozarks, as well as the most mouth-watering steaks, can be found on our lunch and dinner menus, as well as many other savory dishes. Lunch is available daily from 11 am-4 pm in the Sunset Room, the bar area, and on our covered outdoor patio. You get the same amazing lake view no matter where you sit, so you can watch all of the busy Labor Day Weekend boat traffic cruising by while you dine.
At 5 pm every evening we open our main dining room for dinner. Between lunch and dinner, we have a wonderful selection of appetizers available in the bar area and you can order from our spectacular Shrimp & Oyster Bar all day long. Our menu also features an excellent children's' menu so that even the smallest members of your party can find something delicious to eat.
Fun
During this 3-day-weekend holiday, you get the chance to enjoy 4 evenings of amazing live music and 3 of our famous Happy Hours! JB Hook's hosts the most talented and entertaining musicians in our bar area from 5:30-8:30 pm every Monday-Saturday. You can see a full schedule of our live music on our website. For Labor Day Weekend, we have the talented Joe Farrell & the Continentals on Friday, Saturday, and Monday, plus a bonus day of music on Sunday with Jazz Toaster.
As for those Happy Hours, we currently host them every Sunday-Friday from 3-7 pm in the bar area. (Times do change seasonally, so call first or visit our website for updates.) We offer excellent drink specials on well drinks and house wine, including our scrumptious homemade Sangria. There is also an excellent selection of half-price appetizers available that are simply irresistible, both because of the taste and those incredible prices!
