Look Forward to Holiday Lights at the Lake of the Ozarks!
Thanksgiving weekend is the beginning of the entire holiday season. You gather together with friends and family to reminisce about all of the things that you have to be thankful over the past year. The day after Thanksgiving, you have a long weekend wide open, and quite possibly a house full of people to entertain still.
JB Hook's will be here for you, serving lunch, dinner, and hosting our incredible Happy Hours. When you are done spending some time with us, you might want to jump into the car and take in a few of the holiday lights around the area.
Enchanted Village of Lights

269 Fairgrounds Road, Laurie, MO 65038
One of the largest drive-thru holiday light displays in Mid-Missouri takes place at the Laurie Fairgrounds. It is free and open to the public, but donations are appreciated. You can enjoy the lights nightly beginning at 5:00 pm. Last year over 19,000 people visited this 27-acre lighted park. This year they are ready to welcome even more.
St. Patrick's Festival of Lights

176 Marian Drive, Laurie, MO 65038
The Shrine of St. Patrick hosts the oldest light park in the area. This has been a popular holiday attraction since 1981. Everyone is invited to enjoy the 4,000 strings of lights decorating the buildings and grounds every night from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. There is no charge to view the lights. All are welcome.
Osage Beach Holiday Lights

950 Hatchery Road, Osage Beach, MO 65065
The Osage Beach City Park will be filled with themed lights to entertain everyone. A variety of locations along Osage Beach Parkway will also feature beautiful light displays. A trip up and down the parkway is sure to put you in a festive mood.
Spend your Thanksgiving weekend enjoying the fascinating light displays around the Lake of the Ozarks area. There is nothing better to get you in the mood for all of the fun holiday events happening throughout the month of December.
A great idea would be to put together a light-viewing caravan, take in the festive sights, and then end your evening here at your favorite seafood restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks for a bit of dessert and a nightcap. You could even turn it around and begin the night at JB Hook's before heading out to see the lights. However you choose to do it, be sure to make the time to take part in this beautiful holiday tradition.
