Best of Both Worlds - JB Hook's Surf 'n' Turf!
"Surf 'n Turf" is a term that we especially love here at JB Hook's. It offers our wonderful customers the best of both or our specialties. "Surf" refers to the best seafood at the Lake of the Ozarks, and "Turf" is generally classified as a grass-fed land animal, typically beef, and that is another meat that our chefs know how to cook to perfection.
These two menu items go together deliciously, so most likely people have been eating them together forever. The term, though, seems to have been introduced in the 1960's. Here is the way that we like to put these delicious tastes together.
