For those unfamiliar with sushi, there are a few different ways that it may be prepared. Some of these include:
- Nigiri - This type has slices of fresh raw fish or meat placed over pressed rice.
- Sashimi - Slices of raw fish presented without rice, often served on julienned daikon radish.
- Maki - A roll comprised of one or more types of fish and vegetables in rice wrapped with roasted nori seaweed.
- Temaki - Prepared the same way as maki but rolled in a cone shape for a better appearance and grip.

California Roll
Crab, cucumber, avocado, rolled in toasted sesame seeds
Spicy California Roll
Crab, avocado, cucumber, and spicy mayo rolled in shichimi pepper
Sesame Tuna Nigiri
Lightly seared tuna encrusted in sesame seeds and finished with pickled ginger and Thai chili sauce. Served with wasabi paste.
Smoked Salmon Temaki Hand Rolls
Thinly sliced smoked salmon, sushi ginger, and cucumber and fish roe served over a balsamic reduction.
California Tuna Maki
Tender tuna, cucumber, fish roe, avocado, and cream cheese.
We simply couldn't offer sushi without the option to enjoy sake along with it. You can enjoy Gekkeikan Sake from the bar that serves 4 and can be ordered hot or cold.
The Lake's Best Seafood
Our sushi menu joins the many savory seafood menu items already offered at our Lake of the Ozarks fine dining restaurant, which include ocean and freshwater fish plus a fantastic Shrimp & Oyster Bar. These may be enjoyed 7 days a week, with our lunch menu being offered from 11:00 am-4:00 pm and dinner beginning at 5:00 pm. The Shrimp & Oyster Bar is available from open until close allowing you to enjoy its offerings midday too.
Twice a week this time of year, every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00 pm-8:00 pm in the bar area, you can enjoy a very special Raw Bar Happy Hour Menu. Not only does it contain some of the amazing JB Hook's seafood that you already love, but it's also offered at an incredible price that makes it even more irresistible than usual!
