We begin the month of February this Friday, which means Valentine's Day is just around the corner. A romantic dinner at our fine dining restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks would be a wonderful surprise for your sweetheart and a delicious evening for the both of you. Whether you make your reservation for our special holiday dinner on Thursday, February 14, 2019, or decide to come in on another day during "Valentine's week," JB Hook's is the perfect place to add a bit of romance to your evening.
A Special Valentine's Day Dinner
Our Lake of the Ozarks steak & seafood restaurant offers an incredible variety of delectable dishes on our dinner menu every day beginning at 5:00 pm. We always have a daily special or two in store for you each evening too. Especially for Valentine's Day, we are planning a delightful surf 'n' turf meal for two. This dinner will include:
A Scenic Lunch
With Valentine's Day falling on a weekday this year, many of you may choose to celebrate on a more convenient evening instead. You could also decide to add a little romance to the middle of your day and meet each other at our Lake of Ozarks lake view restaurant for lunch instead. (Or possibly for both lunch one day and dinner another!) You get a breathtaking lake view from every seat throughout the restaurant, so that will be here waiting for the both of you no matter what time of day you choose to join us.
Lunch is served daily from 11:00 am-4:00 pm in the Sunset Room and in the bar area. In addition to the many delicious meals we offer on our regular lunch menu, the chef always cooks up daily specials for this mid-day meal too. New this year, if you join us for lunch on Tuesday or Wednesday, you can also enjoy selections from our incredible sushi menu!
Cocktails & Live Music
Another option for a romantic get-together around Valentine's Day is to join us in the piano bar for a bottle of wine or a couple of cocktails and some of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks. During Valentine's week, we've got a few of your favorites performing from 5:30-8:30 pm.

Our extended Happy Hour happens to coincide with this incredible live music during the week. When you join us in the bar from 3:00-8:00 pm Monday-Friday, as well as all day every Sunday, you can enjoy great drinks specials and a fantastic selection of half-price appetizers too.
Facebook Contest Alert!
We have been running monthly contests on our Facebook page focusing on the many different aspects of our Lake of the Ozarks restaurant & bar. For February, we'll be focusing on the romance surrounding this month by asking all of our guests to share photos and memories of your romantic moments that happened right here at JB Hook's!
Keep an eye on our Facebook page for the beginning of this contest early in February. It will have instructions and deadlines for your entries, as well as the February hashtag to use on your posts. It can be past memories or you can come in to make brand new ones to share. One of those posts will be chosen to win a $100 JB Hook's gift card!
