Great Prizes Up For Grabs in JB Hook's Monthly Facebook Contests
We started something new this month at JB Hook's that we thought could be a lot of fun for everyone - monthly contests on Facebook! It's an enjoyable way for you to share special moments you have here with us, plus a wonderful way for us to see JB Hook's through your eyes. Our first competition involves the best Happy Hour at the Lake of the Ozarks, and you've still got time to enter.
November - Happy Hour Favorites
For the past few weeks, we have been asking all of you to share photos showcasing your favorite things about our amazing extended Happy Hour. This month's winner will receive 2 free glasses of our house wine. (If you haven't tried our homemade Sangria yet, it's bound to become one of your new favorite drinks!) There are a lot of different topics to choose from, and you are welcome to enter more than once!
For example, you may have a favorite cocktail that you order every single time you join us for Happy Hour that only our bartenders mix up just right. It could be one of the delicious half-price appetizers available during Happy Hour in our bar area, or possibly a particular server that makes the time you spend here extra special. The wonderful company you keep during Happy Hour could be the subject of your photo, and there's almost always an incredible musician scheduled to play during a portion of our Happy Hour, so we expect to see a few pictures of them too. The bottom line is, if it makes you happy, we want to see it!
How To Enter
All you have to do to enter is snap a quick picture of your favorite thing (or things) about Happy Hour at our Lake of the Ozarks fine dining restaurant and share them on the JB Hook's Facebook page with the hashtag #LakesBestHappyHour. It can be shared in the comment section of one of the contest posts, or you can share it to the page. As long as you use the hashtag #LakesBestHappyHour, we should be able to find it.
You have until Wednesday, November 28, 2018, to make your entry and we will be choosing a winner shortly after that. Our regular Happy Hour this time of year is Monday-Friday from 3-8 pm and all day every Sunday. If you happen to be reading this blog today (Nov. 23) we are hosting an additional all-day Happy Hour for Black Friday, giving you some additional time to join us for all sorts of happy things to photograph!
December - Special Moments at JB Hook's
We've already decided on a topic for December's Facebook contest. It will ask you to show us or tell us about special events you have celebrated at JB Hook's. There will be lots of holiday gatherings coming up for you to make those memories to share. They don't have to be brand new photos. You are welcome to use any picture you have taken here at JB Hook's celebrating something like a birthday, an anniversary, a graduation, or another special event.
Keep an eye on our Facebook page the first week in December for that contest and the hashtag we'll ask you to use to enter. Since December is the season of giving, we'll be giving an extra-big prize out for this particular contest - a $100 gift card to JB Hook's!
We love sharing time with each of our wonderful guests, and this contest is a great way for everyone else to see just how much fun you are all having at JB Hook's in Lake Ozark. Start sharing those photos soon. We can't wait to see them!
