4 Things You Should Enjoy This Memorial Day Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks
Our Lake of the Ozarks fine dining restaurant is located in Lake Ozark, which is a wonderful holiday destination. With Memorial Day Weekend coming up in just a couple of days, we expect to see a lot more people in town than we have for a while. There are many wonderful things to do while you are here, and JB Hook's has 4 excellent things that you should make a point to experience over the holiday weekend.
Delicious Food
You're going to need to eat over the 3-day weekend, and it's very likely that you have a lot of activities planned for the holiday. Don't just grab "fast food" on the run. Instead, make a satisfying, sit-down meal one of those planned activities.
Our Lake of the Ozarks seafood & steak restaurant serves lunch daily from 11 am-4 pm, dinner service begins at 5 pm, and you can enjoy appetizers and our Shrimp & Oyster Bar in the bar area all day long. No matter what time of day you choose to dine with us, you'll have an extensive menu of mouthwatering foods to choose from, plus daily specials and the delicious drinks to enjoy along with them.
Reservations for dinner are not necessary, but if you prefer to have your weekend scheduled out ahead of time, you can make reservations online through our website or call 573-365-3255.
Amazing Live Music
Our bar area hosts the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks 6 nights a week, Monday-Saturday, from 5:30-8:30 pm. We have a rotating list of local favorites taking our stage regularly. This Memorial Day Weekend you can enjoy the musical stylings of Joe Farrell & the Continentals on both Friday and Saturday.
That Spectacular Lake View
There's not a bad seat in the house at JB Hook's, and that is partly due to the fact that every seat has access to a breathtaking 14-mile panoramic view of the Lake of the Ozarks. Our dining room features floor-to-ceiling windows for an uninterrupted view of the lake, and the Garden Room, the Sunset Room, and our bar area have large picture windows. If you don't want any glass between you and that outstanding scenery, our outdoor patio is the perfect place for that! The lake view is stunning, but the sun setting over the water is every bit as breathtaking too, so definitely worth taking the time to enjoy!
Fireworks
Memorial Day Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks brings along with it more than one night of fantastic fireworks displays. We are lucky enough at JB Hook's to have access to that 14-mile panoramic view of the lake that we mentioned above, and from our windows, you can see many of the fireworks displays that are being shot off over the water.
At dusk, we love to turn the lights down in the restaurant and bar so that those displays are even more enjoyable to see. You can find times and dates for various displays at Funlake.com, plus there are some amazing shows put on by private residents that we can see from our portion of the lake.
