Lunch at JB Hook's Part 2 - Our Entrees and the Shrimp and Oyster Bar
JB Hook's in Lake Ozark has such an extensive lunch menu, we had to divide it into two different blogs! Last week we featured the salads, soups, and appetizers that you can order daily from 11 am - 4 pm at our Lake of the Ozarks lake view restaurant. Today we are highlighting our incredible lunch entrees and that amazing Shrimp & Oyster Bar. Get ready to get hungry!
SHRIMP and OYSTER BAR
These items are prepared while you watch at our beautiful piano bar, but be warned, irresistible aromas are produced and waft throughout the room, making your mouth water in anticipation!
New Orleans BBQ Shrimp
Sauteed with beer, garlic, and Cajun Spices.
Peel 'N Eat Shrimp
Served chilled over shaved ice with cocktail sauce & horseradish, and available by the pound or half-pound.
Shrimp Cocktail
Served chilled in a martini glass with cocktail sauce and horseradish.
Steamed Little Neck Clams
Prince Edward Island clams steamed with white wine, butter, garlic, and lemon.
Garlic Shrimp
Sauteed in butter, garlic, white wine, and finished with a hint of lemon.
Oysters on the Half Shell
Succulent Blue Point Oysters served with cocktail sauce & horseradish. This dish is available by the dozen or half-dozen.
Steamed Blue Mussels
Prince Edward Island mussels steamed in garlic, butter, white wine, & lemon.
LUNCH ENTREES
This tremendous variety of lunch items is served with your choice of - Sweet Potato Fries, French Fries, Homemade Chips, Coleslaw. or Pasta Salad.
Fish & Chips
A half-pound of hand-battered cod filets fried to perfection and served with house-made coleslaw and raspberry chipotle sauce.
Sirloin Bleu
A 6-ounce cut sirloin charbroiled, then topped with melted bleu cheese and Tobacco onions.
Ahi Tuna Steak
Fresh Ahi Tuna pan-seared to your liking, prepared blackened or grilled.
Catfish & Chips
A generous portion of farm-raised catfish served with housemade coleslaw, jalapeno hush puppies, & raspberry chipotle sauce.
Grilled Chicken Club
Grilled chicken piled high on wheatberry bread with lettuce, Applewood smoked bacon, tomato, onions, avocados, and Swiss cheese, served with honey mustard.
French Dip
Thinly sliced, slow-roasted beef heated in-house made au jus and served on a Hawaiian sub roll.
Bruce's Panama Wrap
Grilled, diced chicken breast tossed with Romaine lettuce, tomato, feta cheese, kalamata olives, bacon crumbles, and Greek dressing, all served in a sun-dried tomato basil wrap.
Bam Bam Shrimp Wrap
Lightly battered shrimp flash-fried and rolled into a wrap with lettuce, tomato, and a sweet and spicy chipotle sauce.
Hook's Coconut Shrimp
7 large shrimp encrusted in coconut, deep-fried to a golden brown, and served with Jezebel sauce.
Fried Shrimp
7 large shrimp breaded, deep-fried to a golden brown, and served with cocktail sauce.
Hook's Famous Crunchy Fish Filet
Delicate, flaky, sustainable Pacific white fish rolled in frosted flakes, fried to a golden brown, and drizzled with honey, served on a Hawaiian sub roll.
Mahi Po Boy
Deep-fried Mahi-Mahi served on a Hawaiian sub roll with lettuce, tomato, and Hook's Signature Bam Bam sauce.
Island Tilapia
Blackened Tilapia topped with mango chutney.
Pecan & Pineapple Chicken Salad
Chunks of white chicken tossed with pineapple, celery, red onions, diced red peppers, and mayonnaise served on a bed of lettuce with crackers and finished with toasted pecans.
Buffalo Chicken Wrap
Fried chicken strips tossed in our spicy buffalo sauce and placed in a sun-dried tomato basil wrap with romaine lettuce, Colby Jack cheese, and ranch dressing.
Hook's Housemade Steakburger
A half-pound of fresh filet strip loin, ground in-house, and served on a Kaiser with lettuce, pickle, onion, and tomato. Burger add-ons include:

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but after getting a look at the impressive lunch menu at our Lake of the Ozarks steak and seafood restaurant, dining here will give you your most delicious meal of the day! That is, of course, unless you come in to try our dinner menu too. Then it's going to be hard to decide which JB Hook's menu is the most enjoyable! It sure will be fun finding out though!
