Holiday Entertaining Made Easy... With A Little Help From JB Hook's!
The holidays are an exciting time, but if you're the one in charge of planning a party, that excitement can quickly turn to stress. Our Lake of the Ozarks steak and seafood restaurant knows a few ways to help you avoid some of that stress. Hopefully, the following tips will alleviate enough of it to allow you to have more fun with your party guests.
Host Your Party at JB Hook's
The easiest and most stress-free way to entertain everyone at your holiday party is to let us handle the setup, the cooking, and the cleanup when it's over! We have an extensive menu full of delicious dishes that everyone at your celebration will love, and our talented chefs can also create many different succulent dishes customized to match your favorite flavors.
We have the beautiful Garden Room that can seat up to 30 guests for a lovely dinner party. It overlooks the main dining area and has a breathtaking 14-mile panoramic view of the lake. For larger parties, there is also the Sunset Room just off of the bar area. This private party space can hold up to 65 guests, and it has that same amazing lake view through the 3 walls of glass enclosing it. There is plenty of room for seating and it contains a gorgeous abalone-tiled fireplace.
Let Us Do Some of the Cooking
If you prefer to host your get-together at home or it is taking place at your office, we can still take care of some of that cooking for you. Free up a little more of your own time by picking up salads, soups, or appetizers from JB Hook's to take to the party with you. We won't be there to clean up when it's over, but during the party, your guests' taste buds will be pleasantly satisfied and you don't have to worry about doing all of the cooking on your own.
Begin or End With Cocktails in Our Bar
One option for making the party last longer but limit the time people spend at your home is to host a portion of the celebration at our Lake of the Ozarks fine dining restaurant. You could have everyone meet for Happy Hour while you make the final preparations at your place, and then they could carpool on over to the party.
You could also cleverly get everyone out of the house at the end of the night by enjoying an after-party in our bar. All of your guests can head over for a nightcap or two, and if you end your event after an early dinner, you may still have time to catch some marvelous live music in our bar. We host the most amazing entertainers 6 nights a week from 5:30 - 8:00 pm, so head on over to JB Hook's with your group. The party cleanup can wait until after all of the fun is over!
