JB Hook's is Cheering for Cat Can Do Racing this Lake Race 2016
Our Lake of the Ozarks restaurant has the best lake view in the area, allowing us to see plenty of water traffic cruising by every year. It makes sense that we would want to get involved, and the way that JB Hook's does that is by sponsoring the amazing Cat Can Do Racing Team from CK Motorsports.
Cat Can Do was the national champion in 2014, and they are well on their way to another title this year. Here are a few facts about this amazing powerboat for all of you boating fanatics.

You can see Cat Can Do (#OneFastKitty) up close and personal over the Lake Race weekend in a couple of different places. The racing team will be at JB Hook's Thursday evening for dinner, with that awesome boat parked in our lot until it's time to line up for the Meet & Greet on Friday. Here is a schedule of events for everything that will be happening over the weekend.
Festival of Speed
Thursday, June 2, 4-9 pm
Located on a strip of Osage Beach Parkway west of the Grand Glaize Bridge, this new event to the Lake Race lineup will feature all kinds of boats, cars, motorcycles, vendors, and more.
Meet & Greet Street Party
Friday, June 3, 5 - 11 pm
The historic Bagnell Dam Strip, just up the road from JB Hook's, will be blocked off to allow all of the powerboats to be on display. Meet the drivers and enjoy entertainment, vendors, family fun, and a kids' zone.
Race Day
Saturday, June 4, all day
Opening ceremonies for Lake Race 2016 will begin at 10:40 am, with the races starting at 11 am and running until all heats are finished, generally around 5 pm. This will all be followed with an awards ceremony at 7 pm.
