Lots of Amazing Things in Store at JB Hook's This Labor Day Weekend!
What are you doing this Labor Day Weekend? If you haven't made plans yet, a trip to the Lake of the Ozarks is always a great idea! While you're enjoying your 3-day weekend at the Lake, make sure that you spend some of it at the best find dining restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks. There are lots of reasons that JB Hook's is a perfect place to visit during the holiday, and here are a few or them.
Tons of Fireworks!
We don't personally set off fireworks for Labor Day weekend, but with a 14-mile panoramic view of the lake from every seat in our restaurant, we don't have to! There will be lots of fireworks displays happening all over the lake area Friday-Sunday. (You can find a list of some at www.Funlake.com.) In addition to the businesses putting on shows, lots of locals set off amazing displays of their own too.
JB Hook's has floor-to-ceiling windows in our main dining room for a beautiful, uninterrupted view of the lake. Our Garden Room features large picture windows, and the Sunset Room just off the bar is enclosed within 3 walls of glass. There's also the covered patio just off the bar overlooking that gorgeous water, so no matter where you're seated, the fireworks will be in full view. When it's time for the show, we will even dim the lights for an even more amazing sight.
Fine Dining in a Casual Setting
We are proud to offer the best steak and seafood at the Lake of the Ozarks, as well as many other delicious dishes that are every bit as incredible. Our kitchen creates gourmet meals that please both your taste buds and your eyes. We don't expect you to get all dressed up to enjoy a meal with us, though. Come as you are! Casual attire is always welcome. Of course, it's also a romantic atmosphere for anyone wanting to get dressed up for a special night on the town.
The restaurant opens daily from 11 am - 4 pm for lunch in our bar, Sunset Room and the patio, and dinner is served after 5 pm. Happy Hour and Live Music
We'll be hosting extended Happy Hour in the bar area over the holiday weekend on Friday, Sunday, and Monday. Our bar is a great place to meet up with friends, or even make some new ones! We have an extensive HALF-PRICE appetizer menu available, and there are specials on well drinks, house wines, and our infamous Homemade Sangria.
Our bar area is also home to some of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks. The entertainment is between 5:30-8:30 pm, which partly falls within the Happy Hours listed above, and even on Saturday night too. During Labor Day weekend you can hear:
